As part of the updated BYOD+ program, Bishop O’Connell is partnering with Computerware, a trusted, local IT company, to provide a way to easily purchase a computer that will meet, or exceed, the minimum recommended specification requirements for the Bishop O’Connell BYOD+ program.

If you purchase your computer through Computerware, you will have the following benefits:

• Computerware is a local HP authorized service provider able to assist with both warranty and accidental damage issues on your device   
• Computers listed on this site will also provide you with the option of purchasing a  3 or 4 year warranty with Accidental Damage Protection (ADP), meaning this machine is designed to last the duration of your student's Bishop O’Connell tenure, regardless of grade level 
• Computers purchased on this site, that require warranty or ADP support, can be left with the Bishop O’Connell IT helpdesk to be picked up and serviced by Computerware.  If service is needed during school breaks, you are welcome to bring your device to our service center in Vienna, only 10 minutes from Bishop O'Connell. Added note - this is a manufacturer's warranty, not Computerware's, so if you are on travel, you are welcome to take the laptop to any manufacturer authorized service center for service.

FAQ's

Do we have to order our student’s computer through Computerware?  

No. While we would certainly appreciate you purchasing your computer from us, please understand that Bishop O’Connell does not require you to purchase any particular model of laptop or use any particular vendor.
